Read what our clients our saying about this tour:
Hi Michelle,
We wanted you and your staff to know what a wonderful, fulfilling experience we had on our recent (very first) visit to Israel. We were fortunate to be able to be included with a most congenial group of only 8 travelers (which made it seem like our very own "private" tour) guided by Yaaki Maayan...a truly incredible gentleman...he's an amazing font of knowledge on any subject (and he tells some pretty darn good jokes, too)! Everyone that we have spoken with has said that their guide was "the best", but, in our opinion, Yaaki would beat them all and is the VERY BEST!
We had done some research and planning beforehand and had mapped out what we thought we should see on our first visit. As it turned out, your tour covered practically everything we had hoped to see, and then some.
We thank you, too, for your guidance in suggesting sites to visit and arranging our hotel accommodations when we were on our own in Tel Aviv before the Gama tour began. We had a truly memorable adventure...from the moment we took off on our El Al flight from LAX until we touched down again 17 days later.
Thank you for helping to make our first visit to this beautiful country so memorable.

Hi Michelle:
We are back home safe and sound after the most wonderful tour imaginable. Gama outdid itself in every respect. The hotels were excellent, the food was superb, but most of all the staff provided by Gama could not be beat. Jacky, our guide was a walking encyclopaedia, but never boring. His mixture of facts with humor and his overall personality made it a joy to be with him. Our driver Shimon deserves a medal for being able to manouver the bus through the narrow streets in the cities and for providing a safe and smooth ride on the highways. We never had to lean to one side on the turns in the road and the starts and stops were always smooth. Sharonee was an absolute doll. Not only was she extremely efficient, but she went above and beyond in looking after us, always with a smile on her face.
As a bonus, the entire group was wonderful. We were compatible, nobody was ever late and a great time was had by all. Last, but not least, everyone on the tour had only the best things to say about you. We knew it from our own experience, but it seems that everyone else also were most impressed by your patience with our silly questions and with the prompt manner in which you always responded.
All in all it was the trip of a lifetime, made possible by the wonderful people at Gama. You can put us on top of the list if anyone asks you for references.
Again Michelle, many, many thanks for all that you and Gama did to make this trip the wonderful adventure that it was.

Dearest Michelle, Yael and Phyllis:
I wanted to be one of the first travelers to say, thank you, thank you and thank you.
We landed at Kennedy yesterday at 6:30 a.m. and haven't stopped talking about our trip. It was memorable, fabulous and one of the best trips that Abie and I have ever been on. Aside from seeing everything and then some, Yael, the selection of hotels were wonderful, the travel itinerary was perfect, and above and beyond, Yacki, Shimon, Sharonee and Ben were terrific. They were super super fabulous. Our group of 34 was a great mix of couples and singles from as far as Austrailia and we all got along famously leaving our email addresses, our telephone numbers and hopes that we can hook up in the future to share our experiences and pictures. The people that went to Petra left a small group in Eilat just to hang and hang, shop and sightsee we did. Would have loved one more day in Eilat. All in all, our trip with Gama was terrific and we will keep in touch for other trips that we may decide to take in the future. Again, thank you for this most wonderful experience. It made us very proud to see what "our people" have done to a desert and how beautiful and devoted to this country the younger people are. They are proud of their State of Israel, happy to serve in the army and have a glow of youth on their faces that show their love of country. The Western Wall experience was fabulous and showed us a completely different view of the Orthodox community. We left Israel knowing that this country will survive anything and everything that outside factions may hurl at us. It is my hope that my 4 granddaughters will go to Israel with Birthright and see for themselves what it took me 70+ years to see.
Shalom, be well and please forward this email to all concerned. It was our pleasure to travel with Gama and will again.
With love, Vivian Maskin and Abe Rosenbloom.
PS...as you can see from the time, we are still suffering jet lag!!!!!
Dear Michelle:
First of all thank you very much for your kindness and all your help in making my dream of going to Israel come true.
Please let me tell you that the whole trip, from the arrival at Ben Gurion till the return to that same airport at the end of the trip was perfect. There was a person waiting for the group and also somebody to take as to the hotel, where we were met by a representative of Gama Tours who gave us all the details of what we should expect, and also some good surprises which were kept throughout the trip by our extraordinary guide Yakki, who went out of his way on more than one occassion to give us all his vast knowledge about Israel.
He took us to many places that were not even in the tour, but that he thought they were worthwhile visiting. He is a very enthusiastic person who loves his job immensely.
I would recommend this tour without any doubt. Just go and enjoy it!!
Best regards

Michelle:
I just want to take a moment to thank you for this tour. My wife and I found it to be one of the best tours we have ever been on. The staff was very professional as well as attentive and caring about each of the tour members.
Yonkie, Libby and Shimon, the driver, were all not only very knowledgeable but explained things in such a manner that also encouraged us to ask questions.
They never made us feel that we were in a hurry to get to the next destination but allowed us sufficient time at each stop.
In talking to friends who have been on other tours to Israel, and being an experienced traveler, we felt that we got more than our monies worth. (Unusual today)
For example, being on the Army base we were allowed plenty of time to look around, as well as ask questions. Having lunch with the soldiers gave us a real insight into the positive attitude of these young people.
We were made to feel welcome everywhere. My wife even found time to shop.
Again, thanks for the professional job you did. I will recommend Gama Tours to anyone that is interested in going to Israel.

The following is a summary of my remarks at the farewell dinner in Israel (to the best of my recollection)
"Each of us will take with us from this tour, his or hers own individual, unique impression of this amazing country. To me, the historical significance of the various sites we have been privileged to visit has been very impressive. Even more impressive has been the viewing of the journey of the Jewish people from ancient times to the present, taking due diligence to identify the thread that unified, nourished and sustained the Jews throughout the ages--- a thread that at many times was very frayed and tattered and fragile, but never completely severed. This in contrast to the many parallel great civilizations that faltered and one by one fell by the wayside.
But most impressive of all---The People.
In the states, a certain segment of the population is described as waspish-WASP.
From now on, when I think of Israel, I will think of Yackie, who I describe as varspish-VARSP, for he is certainly Vibrant, with a positive Attitude, he is certainly Resilient, with a grand Spirit, and above all he is certainly Passionate.
Finally when I think of the people of Israel, I will fondly recall the youth, the youth to whom the torch has been passed to carry on the traditions and to ensure the viability and the continuity of that vital Thread to future generations."
Shalom and Lailatov.

Michelle:
A quick note to tell you how much we enjoyed the Gama Adult Tour to Israel. The tour was incredible. Planning could not have been better. We saw everything in the country traveling from the Golan Heights to Eilat. We experienced the Ancient lands, and the miracle of Israel's rebirth: from dessert sands to thriving cities.
Julian and I had a wonderful time. You were most helpful in the original planning, and our guides in Israel were outstanding. Accommodations were first class, meals were excellent, and I must repeat myself, tour guides were not only considerate, but they were also incredibly knowledgeable. Yaki was a walking encyclopedia. Shimon (the driver) made everyone feel safe on winding roads, and Libby kept the home fires burning so we always stayed on course.
Since we included the trip to Petra just want to say that it was also a remarkable experience. Thank you all again for making this a most remarkable experience.

Hi Michelle,
It has been almost 3 weeks since we returned from our trip to Israel. We are still glowing when we talk about it. I hope I can find the right words to tell you how incredible it was. Our guide was outstanding. His energy, passion and knowledge was consistent day by day. What a treasure to see Israel with Yackie (Jackie) leading the way. Libby was always there for us and looked after our needs with grace and caring waysl. Our bus driver, Shimon, was skilful, friendly and attentive. We loved all the surprises along the way, the gifts, drinks, lunches, entertainment. And all of this has nothing to do with Israel itself.
As to the itinerary it was perfect. We saw so much that impressed us in this miracle of a country. We learned so much. Each day and event made us feel so proud as Jews. I have never considered myself a Zionist until now. I know we will go back one day and hope that we can work together with you to plan another trip.
Congratulations to everyone in your organization for a job well done. I can think of some ways to improve the trip even more but I wanted to first send you my overall impression.
